If your life “looks good on paper” but feels somehow unsatisfying, you’re a candidate for life coaching. Everyone wants to experience positive change, regardless of circumstances. Anyone can feel empty despite successes, or want healthier relationships. Feeling stuck in life but not knowing why or how to make productive changes is very common. Life coaching, just like psychotherapy, examines the ways we repeat patterns. I help people discover those patterns — roadblocks to progress in personal fulfillment — and together, we create strategies to inspire and motivate them to create lasting change. Transformative change is possible from wherever someone is in life. Through life coaching, anyone can achieve increased personal and professional satisfaction, and better overall quality of life.
Culture is important in life coaching as well, because it’s very important to the way we perceive ourselves and are perceived by the world. My clients benefit as they come understand their challenges through the lenses of race, culture, class, gender and ethnicity — cultural forces that have profound impact on our personal and professional development.
I have training in relationship coaching, life coaching and anxiety. My expertise also includes emotional intelligence, conflict management, team-building, work-life integration, anxiety and cultural diversity. With over 20 years experience, my style is solution-focused, collaborative, flexible, and interactive. My training includes psychoanalytic and cognitive behavioral therapies, with specific training in substance abuse, codependency, and 12-step modalities.
While many clients find that longterm coaching pays for itself, short-term options are totally available and often produce lasting results.
